Dr. Irvin Wright, Act 101/EOP Director

Dr. Irvin Wright

Dr. Irvin Wright has been the Director of Act 101/EOP since 1996. He served as the Assistant Director from 1977-1996. He advises all students on academic and financial aid matters. He is an excellent resource and is always available to meet with students. He not only serves as an advisor but as a mentor.

Dr. Wright holds a D.Ed from Pennsylvania State University.

He is actively involved in the following: University-Community Task Force on Racial Equity, University Committee for Protected Class Issues, Advisory Board for Frederick Douglass Institute, and Bloomsburg Rotary Club. Prior to his involvement with the Rotary Club, Dr Wright served on various university-wide committees.

Dr. Wright has provided Bloomsburg University with dedicated service since 1977 and intends to continue providing guidance to all students.
