Supportive services help integrate
students into the college environment and enhance their potential for
success. These services include developmental courses to enhance reading,
writing and mathematical skills. Students also receive academic advising, counseling, and tutoring. In the computer lab students get the opportunity to develop math, writing, and reading skills through either computer-assisted programs or with a tutor. In addition to teaching courses that prepare students for success in college, faculty also tutor students on a one-to-one basis or within a group. The Developmental Instruction Lab provides an atmosphere for peer tutoring. |
