Are you around this summer? Although CCM does not have any scheduled events, the Newman House is open for students when Fr. Tim or Jean is here. Stop on by. There's a TV to watch, quiet places to study, and a chapel to pray in. Oh, and did I mention, probably snacks in the kitchen and some smiles to welcome you in?

You are always welcome at the Newman House, the home of Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM) at Bloomsburg University. During the Fall and Spring Semesters the Newman House is open from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. seven days a week. Come down to study, pray, take a break, watch TV on the big screen, do a puzzle, or check out the video games. The Newman House serves as a residence for the Catholic Chaplain, as well as a student center for spiritual education and informational gatherings. The Newman House is meant to be a home away from home for students. Its facilities include a chapel for Mass and prayer, a fully-equipped kitchen, a handicapped accessible bathroom, a dining room for small group dinners with friends, a living room with a great TV, and space for study groups. You are always welcome at Newman House. The first floor is wireless, so bring along your laptop if you want to go on-line. Come daily, weekly, monthly, or even just once a semester, there is no need to sign up, just show up as you are able.
