There are several opportunities to live out your faith in community service activities. Once a month, CCM students prepare a meal for guests staying at the Ronald McDonald House and visit families whose children are being treated at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Other service opportunities are the Special Olympics Basket Bocce Bash, singing at area nursing homes, and Project Linus. |

This weekly activity is open to all students and provides dinner cooked by BU student organizations at the Newman House. Enjoy meeting new friends and bring along your friends at our weekly dinner. All is costs is one dollar per person. |

Lectio Divina is a Latin phrase which literary translates to sacred reading. Unlike Bible Study, Lectio Divina is not meant to be analyzed, studied, or scrutinized. Our vocal and instrumental praise of God is ministry at its finest, composed of students of all majors and BU staff of all ages. Liturgical music enhances our congregational singing at Mass. We welcome all committed musicians. Practice is ninety minutes before Mass begins. |

Opportunities to participate in evenings of reflection, overnight retreats and pilgrimages to local shrines are planned every semester. Annually the Busy Persons Retreat is offered to provide a week long retreat on campus to meet the needs of students who are too busy to attend off campus retreats. |

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which non-Catholics become fully initiated into the Roman Catholic Church. This process introduces you to the beliefs, practices, and life of the Catholic community. |

Enjoy an evening with others at the Newman House with a variety of games. There’s video games like Halo II on the x-box, air hockey, electronic board games, and card games being played simultaneously being throughout the house. Refreshments are served for this opportunity to have fun! |

Young Adult Faith Formation is a great opportunity for young adult catechesis and conversation about the challenges of living out your Christian faith. Just as you are acquiring information about your chosen career as a college student, being able to articulate your Catholic faith as a young adult is also important.
