You are always welcome at the Newman House, the home of Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM) at Bloomsburg University. The CCM Newman House is open from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. seven days a week. Come down to study, pray, take a break, watch television on the big screen, or use the video games. Newman house serves as a residence for the Catholic Chaplain, as well as a student center for spiritual education and informational gatherings. Newman House is meant to be a home away from home. Its facilities include a chapel for Mass and prayer, a fully equipped kitchen and dining room for small group dinners with friends, a TV room, music and game room, and space for study groups. You are always welcome at Newman House. The first floor is wireless, so bring along your laptop if you want to go on-line. Come daily, weekly, monthly, or even once a semester—there’s no need to sign up, just show up as you are able.
Cor ad Cor Loquitor is the name of our e-news sent twice a week to provide reminders about our upcoming activities, prayer prompts, and young adult faith formation. Cor ad Cor Loquitur the Latin motto of our patron, Venerable John Henry Cardinal Newman. It means Heart Speaks to Heart, in other words, heart to heart conversation between you and Jesus.
