This is the third year of
institutionalization of this initiative to improve field experiences for
secondary mathematics and science student teachers. Originally funded by
two CETP-PA Level II funding grants (2001-02 and 2002-03), the
co-supervision process continues and is funded by
the College of Professional Studies. During the fall 2005 semester, ten
student teachers were each visited two times by an education faculty
member and a content faculty member; they received feedback on pedagogy
and accuracy of content knowledge. During the spring 2006 semester five student teachers were co-supervised. Please contact srandall@bloomu.edu for further details. |
