DP Alumni

Several years ago, a few older brothers started the “Delta Pi/Sigma Pi Alumni Association,” aimed at connecting brothers spanning several generations. So far, the organization has been a huge success! Each year, brothers from all over the country and from varying pledge classes reunite at baseball games, amusement parks with their families, and at BU’s Homecoming celebration. Together, we share stories and laugh and help strengthen the fraternity.

In recent years, DPSPAA has been of tremendous help to the active brotherhood. In addition to the leadership and counseling, the alumni have started a scholarship fund to benefit a deserving brother and is awarded annually. The 2010-2011 recepient is Brother Mark Brajer, 698; “McLovin” will be receiving $1000, and the pot is only getting bigger!

In addition to the scholarship, the alumni have also pledged to help the entire brotherhood defray the cost of schooling through their “Books for Brothers” program. Each year, the alumni donate money for a book fund to assist brothers in purchasing materials.
