Conference Rooms 226 & 227 IMP Stations

IMP Station (Conf Rms 226 and 227)

Description: The IMP Station contains the following equipment:

  1. One (1) manual projection screen
  2. One (1) Benq MX812ST (Manual) short-throw ceiling-mounted, remote controlled, multimedia projector
  3. One (1) Panasonic DMP-BD87P-K Blu-Ray video player with remote.
    • Will play BD-Video supporting the region code "A".
    • Will play DVD-Video discs supporting region codes "1" or "ALL".
    • CANNOT play DVD-RAM, Super Audio CD, Photo CD, DVD-Audio, Video CD and Super Video CD, WMA discs, all types DivX discs, HD DVD, BD-Video recorded at rate of 50 fields/sec.
  4. Ceiling-mounted speaker with 35 Watt (Atlas Sound AA35) sound amplifier
  5. One (1) computer / laptop VGA + Audio connection
  6. One (1) stereo auxiliary audio input (for smart phones, iPads, etc.)

Setup Considerations:

Troubleshooting: Projector must be powered on for sound from ceiling speakers. See table below.

  • Is the projector powered ON?
  • Is the projector’s video source on COMPUTER 1?
  • Is the VGA cable securely connected to the rack’s VGA input & the computer’s VGA output?
  • Has the projector remote’s BLANK button been pressed?
  • Have computer’s VGA outputs been toggled by pressing either function (FN)+F5 or FN+F6?

No sound

  • Is the amplifier powered ON?
  • Is the projector powered ON?
  • Is the VOLUME KNOB #1 turned up?
  • Is the computer playing a sound?
  • Is the computer playing a sound?
  • Is the computer’s volume turned up?
  • Is the computer’s audio cable securely plugged into the computer’s headphone jack and the 1/8” stereo jack on the side of the rack?
DVD / Blu-Ray player HDMI input Knob #1

No image

  • Is the projector powered ON?
  • Is the projector’s video source on HDMI?
  • Is the DVD/Blu-Ray player playing a video?
  • Has the projector remote’s BLANK button been pressed?

No sound

  • Is the amplifier powered ON?
  • Is the projector powered ON?
  • Is the VOLUME KNOB #1 turned up?
  • Is the DVD/Blu-Ray player playing a sound?
Auxiliary Audio (Smartphone, iPod, iPhone, iPad, etc.) Not used Knob #3

No image

  • Not applicable

No sound

  • Is the amplifier powered ON?
  • Is the VOLUME KNOB #3 turned up?
  • Is the device playing a sound?
  • Is the device’s volume turned up?
  • Is an audio cable securely plugged into the device’s headphone jack and the RCA stereo jacks on the side of the rack?
